I still loved it, but grinding away without getting better slowly sucked the fun out of it. So I did what a lot of people do: I walked away from the kit for years.
THEN I CAME BACK. DEAD SET ON BREAKING THROUGH.
In my 20s I found myself back behind the drums, and that's when I stumbled onto a few techniques I'd never heard anyone talk about. Within a year they completely changed how I played. I could finally get the ideas in my head out onto the kit and keep up with almost any style of music.

Community Rate
A few spots each month at $60. I started playing because someone gave me a shot, and this is me passing that on. If money is the only thing standing between you and the kit, just ask when you inquire.

What's the Community Rate? +
I keep a few $60 slots open each month for people who would have a hard time swinging the full price. It is not a sale. The regular rate is what keeps this sustainable, but I never want cost to be the reason someone does not play. If that is you, mention it when you reach out and we will figure it out.
Is one session really enough? +
That's the whole point. I'm not teaching you 8 weeks of filler. I'm teaching you the 3 things that actually matter and the exercises and practice regimen to lock them in. You leave with everything you need to keep getting better on your own.
Do I need my own drum kit? +
Nope. There's a full kit waiting at the studio. We'll also sort out cheap, quiet ways to practice at home.
Can total beginners start here? +
Absolutely. Plenty of people show up having never held a stick. By the end of the hour, you'll be playing a real groove.
